Growing up along the beaches of California, Ned Evans developed his passion for the Pacific coastline from on top of a surfboard. It is a passion that continues to captivate and inspire him, and is why he insists on dividing his time between the studio and the surfboard still.

His paintings continue to echo that organic union of sky and sea that has been his life’s backdrop since birth. Brilliant swaths of color sweep vertically through his canvases.
