DARREN GRANT began his professional career in architectural design while studying the techniques of the old masters. For the next fifteen yers, his work was rooted in traditional realism until a very close friend commissioned him to create a painting in abstract form.

Since the completion of that piece, Darren has focused his artistic talents on this style of oil on canvas.Grant's abstracts reflect all he has learned in the past twenty years in architectural design and traditional realism. In addition to the pieces available at the gallery, Grant's work may be viewed at variety of public places, including the giant hand carved Buddha at Tentation Restaurant in Irvine.
